Gone too soon, Mrs. Mercy Adegboye. When I look back at my life, I don't measure my blessings just by the family I was born into but by the extraordinary grace of the people who chose to love me or were God's sent. I could remember your divinely led intervention when I couldn't get admission into the secondary school after obtaining my primary school certificate due to my poor performance in the entrance examination. Your candid advice to my parents for the innocent girl then, was that if they could allow you to take me to Sijuwade Nursery and Primary School, Ile-Ife, which they agreed to, though I was sent back to Primary 4 then, based on the assessment done for me but I thank God that it was timely, the faulty foundation was corrected. You opened your home, your wisdom and your heart to me without ever making me feel like an outsider. Thank you for the quiet sacrifices, the gentle but strict corrections, and the unconditional love that shaped my world. I am eternally grateful to call you a unique seasoned, thorough and dutiful Abiyamo tòótó. The good legacy you left behind is still adorable. Rest on mummy Niyi, We shall meet at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ on the glorious day. Well done. Your generation and generations to come are blessed in Jesus mighty name.
