Before mama Mercy came to Abuja for her medicals, I had met mama twice. First when she came to see her beloved son Pst Niyi and second, when she came for her son Seun's wedding. What keeps drawing me to her is her warmth and smile. Mama loves genuinely, mama is simply sweet. The depth of her knowledge in God is unmatched. Mama would utter some prayers for you and you would be wondering where such depth came from. Few days before her death, I was privileged to be in a meeting with her and her voice and contributions were so heavenly. Who would have thought that she was preparing to go meet her Maker. Mama is so peaceful that she died a peaceful death, filled with no drama at all. I cried but I'm comforted that mama lived a good life, finished her course and now is resting with her maker. We only pray that we who are left would make good use of our time here on earth so we can meet with her someday in eternity with God. We find comfort in the arms of Glory. Rest well Mama Aanu.
